I have been watching your tutorials on Eclipse and they are great. But how exactly do I view the app I created on my phone, and not just the emulator?
Plug in your phone. Go to applications, development, USB Debugging. Eclipse should automatically find it and install the .apk on your phone once you hit run (if no emulators are running). If eclipse does not recognize it, make sure the drivers are up to date on your phone. If you have a HTC Thunderbolt, like me, I had to download HTC Sync for it to work. Good Luck!
Hey, id love to promote you on our site with over 300 page views a day for free, just because ive really enjoyed your android tutorials. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for all the Android goodies! I currently had the JDKv6 and Eclipse (Helios) installed and it has been running just fine until recently I watched the 3rd Android Tutorial on installing the SDK and when I reach the wizard it indicates that it does not detect my JDK… I did a fresh install on everything (JDKv7 and Eclipse Indigo) and I still get the same message. It directs me to Oracle to download the JDK that which I already have. Help? Please!

Trav you the man. Thanks so much for the Android app tutoring. I tried writing this stuff in Qt but after I port anything its clunky feel if it does work. Fig I would get back to my Java roots of 1.1; thats the last time i coded anything java. So i got a book first. $38 bucks later I was pissed. Then i found your vids. Put you up on the middle monitor and its fun to code again.
I know your helping the community. I was shocked to not see a lot going on in the forums. More people need to know about http://www.mybringback.com I will to every vid on youtube and Fav-N them for now on.
I run linux and love your open source feel and ideals. Donated a few bucks, thats great and all, but I’ll check into the forums every day when I’m in your class
to see if I can produce some bringback too.
Thanks Trav.

Hi Mr. Travis,
I am beginner in the java programming but I am very interested to learn it. I have watched many videos about The New Boston from YouTube site but I have some questions:
1. How to retrieve some data like KEY_ROWID, KEY_NAME from SQLite Database “HotOrNot”and show in List View with search option in namelist.xml which I created it to show the data (I am using the example which I made from The New Boston ( HotOrNot).
2. Can I import & Export the data from/to SQLite Database from /to an excel sheet
Thanks in Advance
Younis
