This is the introduction to the Unity course I will be teaching.  In this Unity 3D tutorial we will cover how to develop games for all sorts of different platforms, such as iOS, Android, XBox, Wii, PSIII, and create games for your computer, whether that be a Mac, or Windows.   It’s going to be pretty fun, easy, and down right awesome.  It is recommended that you take this course with a friend so you can work together and keep each other accountable.  mybringback would also love if you could tweet this course out to your friends, or post on facebook.  I wish you the best as a future game developer. -Trav

Unity is definitely an awesome game engine.  If you don’t know what a game engine is, thats cool, no worries.  A game engine is a way for us to make games easily, if you want more descriptive definition, check out game engine on wikipedia . Unity 3D is the game engine that will we be using (obviously).  So, in order to get started you first need to download Unity 3d, and then we can get to business.  You will be able to develop for the web, iOS, Android, XBOX, PS3, and Wii. Unity is an incredible game engine that help us to make game quite simply… because if you have tried developing a game in native code alone, you know it can be a *#^#@($ nightmare.
